Ramzi A. Sarkis, DMD, MScD

Dr. Ramzi Antoine Sarkis received his specialty training in Endodontics at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, and is also a graduate of BUSDM’s AEGD, DMD, and MSD programs. His thesis focused on the antibacterial activity and microleakage resistance of MTA and SEBA.

Before studying in the United States, Dr. Sarkis pursued post-doctoral studies in Paris, France and Beirut, Lebanon where he also received his first dental degree (DChD) in 1994 from Saint Joseph University.

He is an Assistant Professor of Endodontics and Director of Educational Planning in the Office of Advanced Education and International programs at Boston University. Dr. Sarkis has presented at the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, the International Association for Dental Research in New Orleans, and at the American Association of Endodontists in Philadelphia.

Ramzi has been recently appointed to the position of Director ad interim of the Postdoctoral Program in Endodontics at Boston University. He, his wife Catherine Frankl Sarkis and their children reside in Brookline, MA.
